About Ron
Ron Mosby grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and attended the University of Cincinnati, where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts. Ron entered Navy Officer Candidate School in November of 1985, and received his commission as an Ensign in March 1986. Ron and his family returned to Cincinnati in 1995, where he worked at Fifth Third Bank until being asked to serve as a Chief of Staff for a member of Cincinnati City Council. Ron served as Chief of Staff for three members of Cincinnati City Council. He was selected to serve as the Public Information Officer for the Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 8 in 2003. In 2005, Ron became Senior Manager of Public Affairs for Wal-Mart, where he managed the government and public relations for over 140 stores in the state of Ohio.
Currently, Ron serves as an Elder at the Ekklesia of the Lord Jesus Christ, a fellowship that meets in the Northside area of Cincinnati. Ron also hosts a weekly radio show entitled “Glimpses of the Kingdom” which airs weekly on WGRI, Inspiration 1050 AM and 103.1 FM, and WCVX, Christian Talk 1160 in Cincinnati. He has also authored a book entitled A Glimpse of the Kingdom. Ron has also previously served on North College Hill City Council. From the military to city council, Ron has served at every level of government. He also currently serves on the board of CAIN, Churches Active in Northside. Ron has been married to his wife Cynthia for over 30 years, and they have four children and six grandchildren.
Glimpses of the Kingdom
This book is an informational tool to use in helping to understand the kingdom of God on a very basic level. Since the kingdom of God is a spiritual kingdom, this book helps to make a transition from an earthly government to a spiritual government.
